Description:
The Expandable Skin Video format can also be animated. The animation will play simultaneously with the banner video and before the first interaction.
In this format, the header video expands to the center of the screen after user interaction (there are two options):

  1. By clicking anywhere on the screen.
  2. By performing a mouse over on the header, after the countdown.

If the user clicks on the ad a second time, they will be redirected to the advertiser’s landing page.
It closes automatically 10 seconds after the video finishes.

Requirements:

  • Asset dimensions: 1920x1000px. It is essential to use the templates, as dimensions alone are not sufficient to correctly create the assets.
  • Both desktop versions must be prepared: 1000px and 1200px, plus a third canvas with the expanded video version.
  • Essential content must be placed within the template’s safe zones (green areas), as these define the portions that will always be visible regardless of screen size.
  • The video position must remain within the header area, either on the sides or centered.
  • It is mandatory to provide the .psd file of the Skin built according to the attached templates.
  • Animated elements must be separated into individual layers and clearly labeled (name and order).
  • Include the fonts used.
  • Recommended video format:
    • Aspect ratio: 16:9
    • Recommended duration: 20 seconds
    • Highest available resolution. The video will be recompressed/recoded for web use.
    • The video will be published as received, meaning it will not be edited or modified beyond file size/dimension adjustments by WEMASS.

What to send:
Video materials:
- Video in mp4 format according to the specifications mentioned.
Skin materials:
- PSD file of the skin, created using the attached template. Font files must be included, in case text edits are needed.

The mobile version of the expandable Skin Video Animated is equivalent to a Skin Video Animated.

  • Asset dimensions: 900x900px. It is mandatory to use the templates, as the dimensions alone are not sufficient to correctly create the asset.
  • Essential content must be placed within the the template's safe zones (green areas), as they define the limits of the creative that will always remain visible on any screen, regardless of its size.
  • The elements that require animation must be separated into individual and clearly labeled layers (name and order).
  • It is recommended to send a reference or animation idea to speed up the process.
  • Font files must be sent.
  • The video can be positioned within the asset in the following locations: top, centered, or bottom.
  • The video adapts responsively to the width of the safe area if the viewing device’s screen is too small.
  • Recommended video format:
    • Aspect ratio: 16:9.
    • Recommended duration: maximum 20 seconds.
    • Highest available resolution. The video will be recompressed/recoded for web use.
    • The video will be published exactly as it is received, meaning it will not be edited or modified in any way beyond dimension/file-size adjustments.
